This role is an initial 6 month fixed term contract on a part time basis (16-20 hours per week). The successful candidate must be proficient in mandarin.

Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding, approval, and documentation.
Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Communicate with vendors to address payment enquiries, discrepancies, and issues in a timely manner
System three-way matching supplier invoices or manually matching supplier invoices and due diligence manage supplier payment files
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records, including vendor files, payment logs, and invoice documentation
Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies, resolve payment issues, and ensure timely processing of invoices
Monitor and analyse accounts payable ageing reports to identify overdue payments and prioritise payment processing
Assist with the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes and increase efficiency
Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management
Skills and experience required
Experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles
Understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
Proficiency in Mandarin essential
Intermediate skills in Microsoft software, cloud spreadsheet and ERP software
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment
Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
