At Strongdor, we are experiencing significant growth and are now recruiting an Accounts Payable Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
Process purchase invoices and maintain purchase ledgers, conducting monthly reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers.
Review and resolve ageing balances.
Monitor, maintain and clear account balances.
Regular detailed analysis and reconciliations for purchase ledger associated accounts such as Goods Received Not Invoiced account.
Support the daily activity of Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely processing including ongoing reconciliation of supplier accounts.
Assisting in the improvement of internal controls related to inventory.
Verify accuracy of postings to supplier accounts GL accounts and cost centres to support internal and external audit.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and generally accepted accounting policies.
What you need:
Previous experience of Accounts Payable at least foundation level accounting or bookkeeping qualification such as AAT.
Highly detail orientated, professional, polite and positive can-do attitude, punctual, reliable and friendly.
Possess strong organisational and time management skills.
Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger principles including double-entry bookkeeping and basic contract terminology.
A thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Commitment to working as part of a team.

The hours of work are 07:30 - 16:30 Monday - Friday, exception of Wednesday 07:00 - 16:00
