We have a role available in our finance team for an

Accounts Payable Assistant.

Size of the role



You will assist the Accounts Payable Lead in running the fortnightly payment run, it's value is an average of >1m across six currencies You will have shared responsibility for ensuring product suppliers invoices are accounted for accurately and over 300 active service/other suppliers You will receive an average of 100 invoices per week

The "day-to-day"



Responsible for ensuring invoices and expenses incurred by the business are received and processed in an accurate and timely manner in the Accounts Payable ledger and ensuring strong supplier relationships by maintaining timely communication and executing payments as appropriate. To have a strong awareness of cost management and where appropriate challenge the budget holders to ensure the correct processes have been followed. Responsible for ensuring payments and receipts transacted via the business bank accounts are processed in an accurate and timely manner in the Cash Book Ensure compliance with all Lyle & Scott policies and procedures

Demonstrated numerical and language capabilities Focus and attention to detail Strong communication skills; written and oral Ability to build relationships Ability to problem solve
