Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the timely processing and payment of invoices as required by our vendors and in line with internal policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Review and triage all incoming invoices across multiple entities and countries with accuracy and efficiency.
Code and post both PO and non-PO invoices with precision and efficiency.
Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to vendors and internal stakeholders, aligning with MRC's global core value of customer satisfaction.
Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices have been captured, requesting copy invoices where required.
Investigate and resolve queries with internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
Coordinate and provide necessary documentation and information to internal and external auditors when requested.
Prepare payment runs to ensure timely vendor payments as directed by the Accounts Payable Manager and/or Financial Controller.
Actively collaborate on team projects to drive impactful improvements in the P2P cycle.
Ensure timely and accurate updates to vendor master data through effective collaboration with the master data team.
Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.
Education, Experience & Ability Requirements
Any combination of requirements, which provide knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities, will be considered.
Accounts Payable experience is required.
Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
Experience with SAP or a similar system preferred.
Ability to communicate with different levels of organization both internally and externally.
Problem solving skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel.
Excellent written and spoken English language skills are essential.
Additional written and spoken language skills for the MRC Global non-English speaking internal &/or vendor locations are highly desirable.
