Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Description


As the Accounts Payable Clerk you will establish and maintain accounts payable policies, processes and procedures for the business whilst managing the day to day accounts payable for the region.

As the Accounts Payable Clerk you will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage the company\'s accounts payable
  • Undertake the management of supplier accounts, expenses and daily banking
  • Reconciling ledgers & posting journals to meet monthly reporting deadlines
  • Undertake payment runs & supplier statement reconciliations
  • Adhere to financial regulations and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the Accounting & Finance team
  • Resolve financial discrepancies efficiently and accurately
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial processes

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
  • Experience operating the AP function for a medium sized business
  • Proficiency in excel and financial systems experience
  • Food and drinks industry experience desirable
  • Excellent teamwork abilities and communication skills
