Welcome to Ingenia. Join Ingenia as an Accounts Payable Specialist, where you'll play a key role in supporting the Finance team's operations. This position is based in Yate, North Bristol.

Primary Responsibilities: Accounts Payable
Review and process supplier invoices promptly using accounts payable software for initial data capture and verification.
Download and process invoices from supplier portals.
Investigate and resolve purchase order discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
Maintain accurate records and reconcile supplier statements with Sage 200.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, addressing and resolving any queries.
Support the Finance Manager by preparing and setting up payments through the online banking portal.
Secondary Responsibilities: General Finance
Post sales invoices and upload them to customer portals when necessary.
Process customer card payments received via telephone.
Set up new customer accounts and assist in completing customer supplier forms.
Perform ad-hoc duties to support the Finance team as required.
Manage logistics bookings during periods of absence of the Logistics Administrator.
Skills and Competencies
Proven experience in a similar role within Finance.
Experience in reconciliation processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Understanding of bookkeeping.
AAT qualified or part qualified an advantage but not essential.
Attention to detail
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
Able to present and communicate financial information effectively
Commitment to team and a collaborative approach
Motivated with a desire to add value and suggest new ideas or processes
