We're looking for a detail-driven

Accounts Payable Temp

to join our Finance team on a

2-month fixed-term contract

. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for accuracy who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Details:

Abingdon, Oxford Office (office-based) 37.5 hours per week Salary: up to 28,000 per annum (pro rata for duration of contract) Contract: Mid-October start, fixed-term for 2 months

A Day in the Life of Accounts Payable:

Where no two days are the same, you might be:

Processing invoices and expenses with speed and accuracy. Monitoring and maintaining the invoice inbox and daily post. Setting up supplier payments and posting them onto the ledger. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries promptly. Supporting the stock ledger, matching invoices to receipts and investigating discrepancies. Covering ad hoc finance duties to support your team during busy periods.

Experience Requirements

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced in accounts payable or has a strong finance administration background. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Comfortable working with ledgers, reconciliations, and handling queries. Proactive, reliable, and able to meet deadlines. A team player with good communication skills. Confident using Microsoft Office and finance systems (training provided where needed).
