We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Person to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in both Sales and Purchase Ledger management, with proficiency in Sage and Xero. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts across 3 to 4 companies within our group.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Purchase Ledger
: Maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring timely and correct postings.
Accounts Processing
: Process and manage invoices, payments, and receipts for multiple companies.
Reconciliations
: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and accounts.
Management Reporting
: Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting for the businesses.
Software Proficiency
: Use Sage and Xero to manage accounts and perform daily tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing sales and purchase ledgers.
Strong knowledge and experience with Sage and Xero accounting software.
Ability to work across multiple companies within a group.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
