Accounts & Procurement Assistant (maternity Cover Position)

Job Description

You will provide professional support to our Finance team, undertaking a variety of administration duties (answering incoming calls, greet visitors, process incoming and outgoing mail, purchase ledger support using Capture Approvals, reconciling supplier statements, inputting orders into Sage, sales administration support, additional accounts support to cover holidays and/or sickness, supporting HR manager with filing). You will be required to effectively communicate with external parties in a polite and courteous manner. In addition, you will have responsibility for inputting stock information into Sage 200 (processing daily production ensuring accuracy of batch numbers as well as processing FOC's, write offs and interdepartmental stock transfers). At month end, issue stock take sheets and reconcile counts then process adjustments as well as inputting new BOM's and updating changes in existing BOM's. You will also be responsible for some consumable orders.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), working Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 5pm, Friday, 8.00am - 2.30pm.

You should be able to demonstrate the following skills: -

Numerate, detail orientated, analytical and enjoys problem solving.

Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and be a good team player.

Ability to manage your time well to suit the needs of the business.

Attention to detail and comfortable handling a wide range of data (including sensitive and personal information).

Be reliable, self-motivated and have a positive attitude.

Knowledge of Microsoft packages (word, excel, power point).
