About the role
In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable activities, with a focus on subscription based revenue. This includes applying payments, managing aged debt, handling complex refunds and chargebacks, and maintaining accurate customer account records.
Key responsibilities include:
Process standing order payments and non-automated payments received in the bank, ensuring correct allocation to members invoices
Monitor and follow up on aged debt
Process refunds and chargebacks
Create and apply credit notes
Amend customer addresses based on VAT mismatch checks
About you:
You will:
Demonstrate that you have strong accuracy and attention to detail
Have the ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships
Be self-motivated to seek and act on feedback
Have a commitment to personal and professional development with the aim of progressing your career in Finance
Show an inquisitive and proactive attitude
Have a GCSE in English AND Maths (grade A-C/Grade 9-4 equivalent)
To meet the government's elibility criteria for the apprenticeship you will also:
Be aged 16 or above
Not already be studying any other government funded learning / qualification or apprenticeship. This includes degree (student loan accessing government funding already)
Not have a higher qualification in the same subject area as the apprenticeship they wish to commence.
Have the right to work in England and lived in England for the last 3 years.
Be a UK National or an individual with the Right of abode in the UK - this includes: People who have been granted pre-settled status, or people with refugee status (RS), humanitarian protection (HP) or discretionary leave (DL).
The interview process for this role involves:-
An accuracy test
1st round interview - Head of Finance Systems and Income analyst - 45 mins, competency based questions
2nd interview - Head of Financial Accounts - 45 mins, competency based questions
