We are looking for an Accounts Receivable & Banking Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring payments and financial transactions are accurately recorded in line with agreed procedures and accounting standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining accuracy across several areas of the balance sheet, with a particular focus on bank and cash accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Bank & Cash
Administer receipts for vehicles purchased, recovered, and other bank transactions
Reconcile cash receipts and perform daily cash-ups
Maintain and update cash book transactions
Carry out daily reconciliation of company bank statements to the cash book, investigating and resolving any discrepancies
Provide support with ad hoc finance tasks as required
Skills & Experience
Cashing up or working with Excel/transaction data
Excellent communication skills
Experience using accounting software, particularly Microsoft Great Plains (Desirable)
Knowledge
Basic knowledge of cashing up and finance processes
Qualifications / Education
AAT part-qualified or working towards another relevant qualification (Desirable)

Ability to complete work on schedule
