Summary

Harvest Retail is currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our department as Accounts Receivable Controller - Retail. The role will take ownership of all O2C processes within Finance

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the postholder's key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Manage customer accounts:

Maintain customer relationships, handle billing, and resolve discrepancies on invoices and payments.

Oversee collections:

Negotiate payment arrangements, make collection calls, and approve overdue held orders.

Process transactions:

Track and record customer payments, update statements, and ensure timely application of cash.

Ensure accuracy:

Maintain accurate financial records, ensure the accuracy of accounting ledgers, and monitor payments, receipts, and bills.

Reporting and analysis:

Perform financial reporting and analysis related to accounts receivable and contribute to risk mitigation. Produce daily, weekly and monthly aged debtor reports.

Internal collaboration:

Work with other departments, such as Operations, to maintain strong working relationships

Process improvement:

Identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency of the accounts payable function. Other ad-hoc finance related duties

Person Specification, Qualifications & Package details:

Advanced knowledge of O2C activities Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel Strong system skills, experience in Dynamics is desirable. Ability to meet demanding deadlines and adapts to business needs Excellent time management/organisational and multi-tasking skills Possess strong analytical skills Strong communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy Flexible and adaptable in approach

Package offered:

Fixed Term Contract position, office based in Weybridge 25 days of annual leave Pension Gym membership contribution (after completion of probation) Probation period 3 months

Pay: 40,000.00-44,000.00 per year
