Job Description
This role involves an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will be critical in managing the billing and collections process in the UK Leading Industry. The successful candidate will be based in Kent and will be an instrumental part of the Accounting & Finance Department.
- Manage and oversee daily operations in the accounts receivable department
- Process billing adjustments and refunds
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Review the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Facilitate swift payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Identify improvements to the billing and collections processes
A successful Accounts Receivable Specialist should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office - Including Excel (VLookups & Pivot Tables)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- A competitive hourly rate of around \xc2\xa322.50 - \xc2\xa325.50
