A forward-thinking accountancy practice is looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior. This position is a great step for someone looking to broaden their experience in client accounting, tax and audit work. Role Responsibilities

Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Assisting with corporation tax, VAT returns and personal tax computations. Drafting management accounts and supporting the wider accounts team. Contributing to audits, including planning, fieldwork and completion support. Working closely with senior colleagues to ensure client expectations and deadlines are met. Offering guidance to junior team members and contributing to continuous improvements in processes. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Personal Requirements

AAT qualified, or ACA/ACCA part-qualified/qualified. Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build client relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Highly organised with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented, with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work. A team player who is self-motivated and able to work independently when required.
