About The Role:
Are you currently studying towards your AAT or ACA/ACCA qualification, or recently qualified, and looking to advance your career in a supportive and progressive environment? Join our Beeston team as an Accounts Semi-Senior / Senior where you'll support client delivery, develop your technical expertise, and work closely with experienced professionals on a wide range of assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Supporting the preparation of VAT returns, corporation tax computations, and personal tax returns.
Ensuring files are completed accurately and delivered to deadlines.
Assisting senior team members and managers with ad hoc tasks and client communication.
Liaising with clients to request and manage documentation efficiently.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
Recording chargeable time accurately and supporting billing processes.
Beginning to mentor junior colleagues and support a collaborative working culture.
About You:
We're looking for a proactive individual with a commitment to learning and progressing within accountancy. You will be:
AAT qualified or studying ACA/ACCA (or equivalent), or recently qualified.
Experienced in preparing accounts in a practice environment.
Familiar with cloud accounting software such as Xero and related apps.
Confident in working with clients and managing your own workload.
A strong communicator and dependable team player.
Passionate about delivering excellent client service and developing your skills.
