A forward-thinking accountancy practice is looking for an Accounts Senior. This position is ideal for an experienced accountant ready to take the next step in their career. You'll be part of a supportive and progressive team, gaining exposure to a wide range of clients and contributing to the growth and development of the practice.

Role Responsibilities



Ensure day-to-day client work is completed accurately and within required timeframes. Review work of others to ensure standards, quality and compliance requirements are met and identify any issues. Support junior team members with queries to ensure accurate work is produced. Deliver client work to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory requirements. Ensure client documentation is received efficiently to meet deadlines. Handle client requests and queries professionally, promoting client loyalty. Prepare client paperwork, including accounts and tax submissions, within allocated deadlines. Represent the firm professionally through conduct, appearance and attitude. Plan and manage your own workload to ensure deadlines are met and work is ready for sign-off.

Personal Requirements



ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with prior experience in a UK accountancy practice. Solid knowledge of accounting standards, audit processes and tax (corporation, VAT, personal). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented, committed to producing accurate and high-quality work. A team player with the ability to work independently when required.
