Job Description

Griffin Chartered Accountants are looking for an organised and ambitious individual to join the firm's Accounts department. You will be part of a growing team based in our Exeter office. The successful candidate will have 2-4 years experience of working in practice to enable them to hit the ground running. Audit experience preferrable, but not essential. We are looking for someone AAT qualified or studying towards the ACA/ACCA.

The role will be varied, involving a mix of accounts preparation, audit, corporate and personal tax.

Support would be provided for further studies towards the ACA or ACCA qualifications. This includes paid time off to attend college during the working day and college fees would be paid in full by the firm.

Key responsibilities include:

Compilation of accounts for limited companies Preparation of tax returns for individuals and companies Supervising and reviewing work of more junior staff Internal and external audit visits (previous audit experience not essential)
