As an Accounts Senior, you will be at the heart of our client relationships, ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and impactful. This role is not just about managing accounts; it's about understanding the unique needs of each client and offering tailored advice that helps them achieve their goals. You will be the trusted advisor, the go-to person who clients rely on for guidance, clarity, and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, becoming their go-to advisor for all financial matters. Understand their goals, challenges, and opportunities, and provide proactive, value-driven advice. Prepare and review annual accounts, management accounts, and financial statements for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity. Preparation and submission of VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are informed of their tax obligations and opportunities. Assisting managers to provide clients with expert advice on financial planning, tax strategies, and business growth, using data-driven insights to help them make informed decisions. Work closely with other members of the team on projects and knowledge sharing to ensure a seamless client experience.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Experience within a similar role within an accountancy practice Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management Hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, ICAS) Thrives in a collaborative environment
