An established and progressive accountancy practice based in Ipswich is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing Business Advisory team, with scope to also support the nearby Bury St Edmunds office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part or fully qualified ACA/ACCA accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a modern, cloud-focused practice.
You'll be part of a high-performing, forward-thinking team that embraces innovation in client service, offering tailored business advice to a broad SME client base.

Role Responsibilities

Prepare management accounts and financial forecasts for a variety of clients. Support tax compliance work across multiple portfolios. Assist client managers with portfolio administration and reporting. Guide clients through the transition to cloud-based accounting solutions. Supervise and mentor junior team members studying toward professional qualifications. Contribute to continuous improvement by applying technology to improve client outcomes.

Personal Requirements

ACA or ACCA qualified, or approaching qualification. Experience working within an accountancy practice setting. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data. A collaborative and personable approach to client relationships. Confidence using Microsoft Office and ideally Xero. Proactive, tech-savvy, and keen to develop into a future manager.
