This role sits within the accounts team and focuses on working with charity clients, preparing statutory accounts and providing high-quality financial support to not-for-profit organisations.
Duties
Prepare statutory accounts for a portfolio of charity clients
Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing relationships and queries
Review and guide junior colleagues' work to ensure accuracy and quality
Ensure compliance with accounting standards applicable to charities (SORP)
Provide proactive advice and support to clients on accounting matters
Contribute to improving processes and maintaining high service standards
What we're looking for
ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, or AAT qualified with charity experience
Experience preparing accounts for charity clients
Strong communication and client-handling skills
Ability to manage a varied portfolio of clients and deadlines
Confidence reviewing junior staff work and providing guidance
