About the Firm
A long-established and respected accountancy practice in North West London, with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a qualified accountant to join its growing team. The firm supports a wide-ranging client base, from individuals and sole traders to large groups with turnovers exceeding 300M. Most clients are owner-managed businesses across diverse sectors.
This is a partner-led practice with an experienced and professionally qualified team known for providing hands-on client support in audit, tax, and strategic advisory.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with a strong grounding in practice who is looking to take the next step in their career. The role includes a mix of audit, accounts preparation, tax work, and advisory support.
Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of statutory accounts under UK GAAP, including consolidated group accounts
  • Exposure to statutory audits (audit experience preferred but not essential)
  • Preparation of management accounts and cash flow forecasts
  • General understanding and application of UK tax legislation across a variety of client types
  • Liaise with clients to deliver accurate and timely work
  • Support senior management in delivering a high-quality, responsive service
The Ideal Candidate
  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / Affiliate, or close to qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience within a UK accountancy practice
  • Good working knowledge of UK Accounting Standards and International Auditing Standards
  • Familiarity with UK corporate and personal tax legislation
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and well-organised
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Must currently reside in the UK with full right to work
