An established and growing accountancy practice in Romford is looking to strengthen its team with the addition of an Accounts Senior. The role will be a varied mix of management accounts/ outsourcing work and preparing year-end statutory accounts for a diverse client base. Role Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients. Support clients with bookkeeping, VAT returns and other outsourced finance functions. Prepare statutory year-end accounts in compliance with UK GAAP and Companies Act requirements. Liaise directly with clients, building strong relationships and providing valuable financial insights. Work closely with other departments (tax, payroll, audit) to ensure joined-up client service. Supervise and support junior members of staff where required.

Personal Requirements

ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified, or qualified by experience in practice. Strong background in both management accounts and statutory accounts preparation. Good working knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting. Proficient with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Excel. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly. Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines.
