Job Overview



We are a modern and progressive firm of accountants based in Torbay looking to recruit an Accounts Senior or Semi Senior to join our small but expanding team. You will report to a client manager and work with a variety of clients.

Job description



You will be required to prepare accounts for sole trader, partnerships and limited company SME clients and deal with the related tax compliance work.

You should be a well-organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated team player with a flair and technical competence for dealing with incomplete records in a thorough and systematic manner.

You must be outgoing, confident and experienced of working with and meeting clients. Our service standards are based upon a team approach with a commitment to provide a proactive and personal approach to all of our varied client base.

You should be able to adapt to a wide range of businesses and have proficient IT skills. A knowledge of Iris, Xero, Quickbooks and SAGE software would be useful but not essential.

The role would ideally suit an experienced person currently working within an established accountancy practice.

Benefits



A competitive salary dependent upon experience, reviewable annually.

24 days holiday plus statutory Bank Holidays.

37.5 hours working week over 4 days.

Office closes at 1pm on a Friday.
