We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Technician to join our friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in practice and will be AAT qualified or working towards their qualification. We welcome applications for both full-time and part-time roles.
The Role
You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
Bookkeeping using cloud-based accounting software
Preparation of VAT returns for business clients
Preparation of business accounts and supporting schedules
Preparation of tax returns for both individuals and businesses
About You
Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
AAT qualified or currently studying towards the AAT qualification
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks is desirable
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
A team player with excellent communication skills
