Applicants should be familiar with maintaining accurate financial records across purchase, sales and general ledgers. Preparing monthly management accounts. Carrying out UK and ROI VAT returns, CIS and RCT claims, EC Sales lists and Intrastats. Reconciling banks as well as customer and supplier accounts.
Applicants will require, a minimum of 3 years of accounts experience; GCSE's (or equivalent) at Grade C or above in Maths and English and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
A working knowledge of Sage 50 would be a distinct advantage.
Experience in Processing Payroll would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
Applicants must be honest, trustworthy and able to work using own initiative. The successful applicant must be well organised and reliable.
Attractive salary of 15.50- 16.50 depending on experience and skills of applicant.
