We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative/Accounts Assistant to support our team in a dynamic office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a commitment to providing excellent administrative and accounts support. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and will involve a variety of clerical and accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including managing schedules and coordinating meetings.
Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up to date.
Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications for document preparation, presentations, and communication.
Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, to ensure easy access to important documents.
Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
Collaborate with team members on various projects, providing clerical assistance as needed.
Support the organisation of office events and meetings, ensuring all logistical details are managed effectively.
Qualifications
Previous office experience is essential; administrative experience is highly desirable.
Proficient computer skills with a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
Familiarity with QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks is an advantage.
Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated clerical experience that showcases your ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
