Job Description

My client are a leading designer and manufacturing of packaging for the UK retail market. For the last 4 decades, this business has been at the forefront of innovation, sustainability, and manufacturing processes within their sector.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts/Administration Assistant to join the Finance team on a full-time basis, working closely with the Sales, Finance and Customer Services departments and providing variety of administrative tasks across the business.

As part of this role, you will provide support to the Finance Manager on a variety of accounting tasks, including end of month accounts, payroll and purchasing duties. This diverse and varied role offers an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate. Applicants will need a high degree of initiative and self-motivation, combined with the ability to be versatile, and have confidence to take on extra responsibilities where required.

Applicants should have strong knowledge of SAGE, MS Office and a variety of internal systems such as Phoenix (CRM). Good written and verbal communication skills are required with a background in being the first line of contact for all customer, supplier and business based enquires.
