Thriving business in Newcastle looking to add to their accounting team.
Reporting in to the Financial Controller the ideal candidate will have experience of working in an accounts team, have good analytical skills and sound judgement along with good working knowledge of MS Office products and Sage.
Responsibilities Include;
-Producing sales invoices for service jobs, hires and truck sales.
-Completing job records for non chargeable jobs.
-Maintaining the cash book and posting transactions to the ledger on a daily basis.
-Reconciling the cash book.
-Reviewing Work In Progress.
-Preparing and posting monthly journals and schedules.
-Typing for the M.D. and other ad hoc administrative work.
-Providing cover for the Financial Controller and other finance staff if required.
Experience Required
-Previous experience in an accounts role is essential.
-Strong Excel and Sage knowledge is essential.
-Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
