Key Responsibilities:Accounts Duties:
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
Perform bank reconciliations
Process invoices, receipts, and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers
Support end-of-month and year-end closing processes
Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding account queries
Input data into accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Croft)
Administrative Duties:
Provide general administrative support to the office team
Maintain filing systems (electronic and paper-based)
Order and manage office supplies and equipment
Schedule meetings and manage calendars as required
Answer incoming calls and emails, and handle general inquiries
Assist with HR admin tasks such as onboarding documentation
Support internal departments with ad hoc tasks and projects
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in an administrative or accounts assistant role
Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience using accounting software
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
