The Role
Supporting the accounts function with day-to-day administration
Processing purchase invoices and checking for accuracy
Raising sales invoices and assisting with customer billing
Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with invoice queries
Supporting credit control and chasing outstanding payments
Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
Assisting with weekly and monthly accounts tasks
Processing expenses, fuel, tolls and other transport-related costs
Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal teams
Providing ad-hoc support to the Accounts Manager / Managing Director
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an accounts or finance admin role
Experience within haulage or logistics is helpful but not essential
Good IT skills, including Microsoft and accounting systems
High attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable, approachable and a good team player
Comfortable working in a small, family-run business environment
