Doctor Air Brake Ltd is a well-established family business specialising in Electronic & Mechanical products and services for Heavy Trucks & Trailers. In addition to our UK office, we have a depot in Sydney Australia and export to the Middle East & Mainland Europe.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that is interested in joining our friendly team at Coven, North of Wolverhampton, who has a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and aspires to be part of a company that offers internal advancement opportunities and growth.

We are seeking an Accounts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAGE accounting software and be proficient in handling sales invoicing, debtors, creditors, VAT, and all management reports.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements Utilise accounting software/financial tools to record and analyse financial data Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers Provide monthly staff salary reports for our accountants to process wages & PAYE Submit VAT returns using SAGE & Government gateway
- General finance duties

Proven experience in corporate accounting Monitor and operate staff attendance App (Training available)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,200.00-34,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 - 37.5 per week
