We are looking for a part time Accounts/Office Administrator to join our existing busy team based at our head office in Hockering. (Working Days to be agreed on commencement of employment).
We are looking for someone who will have experience from working within a similar fast paced accounts department environment, you must be well organised and possess excellent communication skills. You must also be familiar with both Excel spread sheets and sage accounting software as well as possessing excellent customer service skills and have a professional telephone manner.
Whilst the key responsibilities will vary day-to-day, they will typically consist of the following.
? Purchase Ledger, Sale ledger, Bank reconciliations, 12 bank accounts.
? Process VAT quarterly and send to HRMC.
? Pass any CIS purchase or sales invoices to Payroll to process for PAYE monthly reports to HMRC.
? Process Monthly reports using Sage software and bespoke software.
? Prepare Payroll information weekly and send to Payroll for the Accountants to process, change s/o's for employees on the bank according to their payslip.
? Day to day administration duties, working on my own initiative.
? P A to the Director - Sorting out utility bills, legal fees, etc.
? Process training for employees.
? HR Administration, maintaining holiday list for employees, contracts etc.
? Hire of equipment for Demolition site work such as skips, toilets etc. Ordering of suits and masks for Demolition.
To fulfil the role to the level required, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills.
Previous experience in a similar role

Ability to cope well under pressure
Able to work effectively in both a team and on an individual basis
Show initiative and a willingness to learn new skills
Good IT skills, particularly within Microsoft Excel & Sage, use of software Syrinx is desirable although we can provide training.
