Duties

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Label and organize medication inventory
- Enter prescription information into computer systems (Proscript)
- Maintain patient profiles and records
- Provide excellent customer service and answer patient questions

- To give advice on "P" and "OTC" medicines and prescriptions to customers as appropriate

Experience

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy ACT Technician preferred
- Familiarity with medication administration and dosage calculations
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient care

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists with the dispensing of medications and providing patient care. You will be responsible for preparing medications, organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. Your attention to detail and knowledge of medication administration will ensure the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceuticals to patients. Strong communication skills are essential for providing excellent customer service and addressing patient inquiries.
