Medichecks is launching a modern, patient-focused distance selling pharmacy, Lift, and we are recruiting an Accuracy Checking Technician to join us at the very start of our journey. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a service from the ground up and play a central role in creating a safe, efficient and forward-thinking dispensary.
About the Role
As an ACT at Lift, you won't just be checking prescriptions. You'll be contributing to the development of a new pharmacy service, influencing workflow design, supporting the implementation of SOPs and helping to build a high-quality operational framework. Working closely with the Head of Pharmacy, you'll play a hands-on role in creating a service that puts safety, innovation and patient experience at its core.
What You'll Do
Deliver safe, accurate final checking of prescriptions
Support the day-to-day running of the dispensary and maintain workflow continuity
Contribute to the design and embedding of new processes and ways of working
Assist with stock management, cold-chain handling and ordering
Uphold high governance standards and support inspection readiness
Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues as the team expands
What We're Looking For
GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician
Accredited Accuracy Checking Technician
Strong experience in community, distance selling pharmacy (DSP) or hospital dispensaries
Someone who enjoys taking ownership and shaping how things are done
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where processes evolve
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
