Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications in accordance with legal and professional standards. Accurately manage medication administration, ensuring patients receive the correct dosages and instructions. Maintain patient records, including medication profiles and prescription histories, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications and health-related issues. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management. Ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked by managing inventory levels, placing orders, and checking deliveries for accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medication administration processes and pharmaceutical terminology. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
