In this role, you will:

Perform accuracy checks on dispensed medication to ensure compliance with legal, operational, and safety protocols. Support the dispensing process, ensuring all medications are verified and accurately prepared for patient delivery. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and orders, and report any discrepancies immediately. Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members, fostering a culture of safety and quality. Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on industry standards and best practices. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to address patient queries and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must:

Hold a level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services or equivalent. Be a registered Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Have extensive experience in a pharmacy setting with a proven track record in accuracy checking. Have strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and standard procedures. Have excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Have outstanding communication skills and a patient-centric approach to service delivery.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule based from our Winnersh Triangle office with flexibility where possible
