Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT)

What You'll Be Doing



Accuracy checking of prescriptions to ensure the highest standards of safety and care. Supporting the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of experienced pharmacists. Delivering clear, compassionate advice to patients regarding medication usage and side effects. Helping to run and check a

small, well-organised dosette/blister pack service

, ensuring timely and accurate supply for patients in need of this vital support. Maintaining meticulous records of all dispensing and patient interactions. Collaborating with the pharmacy and wider healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Contributing to stock control, inventory checks, and reordering processes. Ensuring the dispensary is kept clean, efficient, and professional at all times.

What We're Looking For



A qualified Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician with at least 1 year's experience. Experience or interest in supporting monitored dosage systems (MDS), such as blister packs. Strong attention to detail and thorough understanding of pharmacy safety protocols. Confident communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care. Calm and efficient under pressure, with excellent organisational ability. A team player who's ready to grow with a business that's constantly evolving.
