Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe administration of medications. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a pharmacy technician and possess a strong commitment to supporting patients in their healthcare journey.

Duties

Administer medications to patients as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols. Assist in the preparation and dispensing of pharmaceuticals under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting medication administration and any relevant patient interactions. Provide support in patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage and side effects. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and patient care principles. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of working independently when required.
