Location: Near Fareham

Salary: PO2, \xc2\xa340,950 - \xc2\xa344,394 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday with flexible office hours)

Contract: Permanent

Closing date: Monday 15th January 2024 at 23.59 hours

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us as an Information Manager, within a national policing unit working to ensure safer communities in the UK and around the world.

About the role

Working to the Head of Information Management and alongside the Data Protection Officer the successful candidate will manage the Public Access, Information Governance and Audit teams. They will be responsible for ensuring that policies and procedures are in place to ensure that ACRO is compliant with legislation and national standards for information management.

Essential Qualifications

Educated to OR relevant professional work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.

Essential Experience
  • Professional knowledge of the Data Protection Act and GDPR 2018, Human Rights Acts 1998, and privacy legislation.
  • Possess highly effective interpersonal, analytical skills and communication skills, both verbal and written, and has the ability to influence senior management.
  • To demonstrate ability to present reports recommending improvements in processes and data recording to comply with national and local requirements to senior staff reducing the business risk.
  • Experience of training delivery and presentations.
  • Experience of leading and managing a team
