Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and the ability to educate students of all ages and skill levels. As a Dance Instructor, you will play a vital role in fostering a love for dance, enhancing students' skills, and promoting physical fitness through engaging and creative lessons.

Duties

Design and implement dance lesson plans that cater to various skill levels and learning styles. Educate students on dance techniques, styles, and choreography while ensuring a safe learning environment. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their performance and confidence. Organise and lead classes in various dance styles, including but not limited to ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. Prepare students for performances, competitions, or examinations as required. Maintain an encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to express themselves through dance. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to organise events, workshops, and showcases. Stay updated with current trends in dance education and incorporate new techniques into lessons.

Qualifications

Proven experience in dance instruction or sports coaching is preferred. Strong knowledge of various dance styles and techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire students. Ability to create an inclusive environment that accommodates diverse backgrounds and abilities. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching dance. Relevant certifications or qualifications in dance education are advantageous but not mandatory.
