Position Overview
The Acro & Gymnastics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality acrobatic and gymnastics-based instruction to students in a positive, safe, and encouraging environment. This role includes teaching technique, conditioning, flexibility, tumbling skills, and choreography integration while ensuring proper safety practices and student progression.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Class Management
Teach acro and gymnastics classes ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
Develop structured lesson plans that focus on skill progressions, technique, and safety.
Lead warm-ups, strength training, flexibility exercises, and skill drills.
Spot students safely and confidently during skill development.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
Student Development & Safety
Assess student abilities and track progress to ensure proper skill advancement.
Provide corrections, feedback, and individualized support.
Enforce safety guidelines, proper alignment, and appropriate training techniques.
Adapt exercises to meet varying skill levels and physical abilities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 2 per week
