Role overview:



The purpose of this role is to support the Activations Team delivering in line with JD Marketing strategy across all activation projects, Third-Party Brand, Partnerships, JD internal Activations. Aligning with the Activation Marketing Manager this role requires an understanding of the Activation landscape and some experience working within a cross-functional team.



Responsibilities:



To work alongside the Marketing Manager(s), support in developing activations which successfully increase JD brand awareness, social engagement, follower growth and website traffic. Possess an understanding of digital, retail and/or OOH landscapes and use this knowledge to implement/develop campaigns. Develop & maintain positive working relationships within the wider business, working with teams such as Social, Third-Party Brand, Talent & Influencer, Partnerships, PR etc. Actively follow all processes & WOW implemented within the team (e.g. project management) and constructively feedback on any opportunities to improve these processes where relevant. Support in the planning & delivery across multiple activation briefs: Tasks incl. - but are not limited to: Agency Briefing An understanding of Budget Management Implementation of Brand Guidelines Updating internal and external stakeholders on key project milestones Work closely with - and understand the needs of - the wider Multi-Channel / Marketing team(s) Reporting (incl. presenting of project results) Low-high tier campaigns may be defined by factors such as budget(s), senior/multiple stakeholder investment, third-party brand association etc. BAU project support; admin support, stock removals, invoices, creation of project management templates etc. Supporting the planning and budget management across multiple projects Comfortable and proactive in collating project results and ability to present these back to the Activation Manager / Head of respectively. Working closely with the wider Activations team to avoid project delivery clashes. Establish and track KPIs in line with best practices for performance evaluation. Ensure you are kept up to date on current trends & informing your peers on industry innovations. This role will include liaison with external agencies, briefing & projection management in line with Activations project brief. Attend key JD / brand events/activations where Activations support is required- this may include working schedule outside of normal working hours as well as UK & International travel.

Role objectives and KPI's:



The key objective is to support in the elevation the JD brand through premium 360 activations that deliver clear positive ROI. This role involves supporting the immediate Activations team & working closely with cross-functional teams, brand partners, and agencies to deliver impactful activations that align with JD Marketing Strategies.



Skills and Experience:



Knowledge of the retail/brand landscape Advocate for collaboration & keen to develop best-in-class communications Basic understanding of good project management skills The ability to be organised and support the team across multiple projects A keen focus on attention of detail across all aspects on JD Activations workload & projects. Actively seeks personal development, including proactively accessing JD's development courses Ability to inspire & motivate by maintaining a positive working attitude that?brings an optimistic, can-do approach to all their tasks & responsibilities. Experience working at events and activations is preferred Confident and outgoing personality, with a genuine interest in music, culture, sports, & fashion. Detail-oriented self-starter with analytical & problem-solving skills. Stay informed on new & emerging industry trends, be the spokesperson in the team & lead the way on innovation for how we activate.
