Job Description

We are looking for an Activities Assistant for 25 hours a week to carry out one to one and group activities with our residents.

Monday to Friday 11am - 4pm, with the occasional weekend for a special event.

The successful applicant must be proactive, enthusiastic and have loads of fun ideas. They must be organised, love the elderly and have experience of working with people with dementia.

Duties:

- Assist with the planning, organising and facilitating of activities for our residents i.e. host quizzes, bingo, arts and crafts, manicures, outings, games and lots more.
- Assist in coordinating events, outings, and group activities to promote socialisation and mental stimulation.
- Collaborate with the care team to tailor activities to meet the individual needs and preferences of residents.
- Maintain electronic documentation of resident participation and activity care plans.
- Provide support during lunch service.
