Methilhill Community Children's Initiative is a dedicated community group committed to enriching the lives of local children and families through engaging clubs, activities, nursery education, and providing valuable information and advice. We aim to expand our programs to better serve our community from our new building on Main Street in Methilhill.

Summary

We are seeking a passionate Activity Assistant to join MCCI . Based in Methilhill, this role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver engaging activities for children and foster a positive community environment.

Responsibilities

To assist the activities coordinator and other professionals to deliver activities To supervise children and provide activities and resources when required. To participate in sessions To complete risk assessments as required To ensure resources are prepared as required To support assistants and volunteers To deal with enquiries relating to the project To work within the policies and procedures of MCCI To attend training as required To gather evidence To work hours as required, and as agreed with MCCI

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.71-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Experience:

Youth work or Community Education: 1 year (preferred)
