Willow ROSE CARE HOME part of the MACC CARE GROUP is looking for an activity Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. Someone with:

Who is friendly, welcoming, and entertaining Caring and sensitive to the needs and abilities of others. Prior care home experience as an Activities Assistant Excellent communication skills Able to plan and communicate effectively and engage others in varying activities. Committed to promoting dignity and respect for all our residents. meeting the cultural needs of the diverse needs of the residents Ability to lead and work well as part of a team A willingness to 'go the extra mile' Professionalism, enthusiasm and commitment Reliability and drive to always give their personal best. WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE INCLUDE?

To provide stimulation and social engagement to residents through a wide and varied activities programme. working two 8 hour shifts through the week including weekends Responsible for the planning, coordinating and delivery of activities within the care home, ensuring all residents are offered a varied and meaningful choice of activities, throughout their stay Develop community links with local groups i.e. churches,temples,charities, schools and local authority

Building relationships with local entertainers to attend the home

Planning and organising special events and a comprehensive activities program, which considers all resident needs. Establish links with, and encourage involvement of the local community in the home, e.g. schools, colleges, religious and voluntary groups. Maintain full and accurate records of daily activities using appropriate documentation
