Activities Coordinator - Enriching Lives Through Meaningful Engagement.




You'll lead the charge in creating uplifting moments that make each day special for our residents. This role is all about bringing creativity, compassion, and connection into a care setting where every individual's well-being matters.


Key Responsibilities:




Design and deliver a vibrant calendar of activities that promote independence, purpose, and joy. Champion creativity--from storytelling sessions to arts and crafts, and movement-based activities tailored to older adults. Manage and maintain stock of materials and equipment within a set budget, ensuring resources are always available for spontaneous fun. Contribute to quality care, aligning with CQC Essential Standards and supporting residents' emotional and social well-being.

Experience & Knowledge:




Experience planning and facilitating activities in a care setting. Insight into what inspires and engages older individuals. Understanding of workplace health and safety to ensure safe participation for all.

Skills We're Looking For:




A creative thinker with hands-on flair across a range of practical activities. Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and encourage residents, including those with more complex needs. Organised and proactive, able to build and manage an activity calendar from scratch. Collaborative yet confident working independently. Basic PC literacy to manage records, calendars, and communications.
