This is an excellent opportunity to join our staff team at the new Mullaghcarn Care Centre at Tircur Road Omagh, you will be an integral part of Care Team providing care and support to our clients specifically with Physical Disability and/ or Mental Health needs, the home will have its own bespoke Activity Centre and private transport to access local community resources and functions. Driving duties will be included as part of your role. You will liaise with the Nursing staff and local Multi disciplinary team to devise a programme of activities specific to our clients needs and preferences. We are seeking enthusiastic, positive minded, caring individuals to be part of our team.

To provide suitable activities within the home. Complete assessment of all residents past hobby's/interests through liaising with resident and resident's family. Plan and Structure of a weekly activities programme that shows resident's individual needs are being met. To provide a variety of activities that are purposeful and will maintain interest over a period of time. Complete Life Story and Activities assessment documentation. To actively encouraging staff members, relatives and friends to participate in the activities in the home. Fully record all outcomes of activities for each individual resident and reviewing the activity planner for each resident. Arranging residents meetings monthly and attending same. Report any changes to a resident's physical/psychological status to the nurse in charge without delay. To participate in one to one therapy's for those residents who are unable to attend group activities. Driving duties as per activities events and to assist the clients with external appointments.
