The Role
In this team at XPS you will:

• Develop and implement comprehensive actuarial transformation strategies tailored to the needs of insurance clients.
• Oversee the design and optimization of actuarial processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency and the implementation of actuarial modeling solutions such as Prophet, Pathwise, Montoux, Tyche, or similar tools.
• Leverage advanced analytic techniques and embed these into actuarial workflows
• Design and implement actuarial target operating models to streamline processes and improve effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of actuarial processes with other business functions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Monitor project performance and report on progress, outcomes, and benefits realization.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on actuarial transformation strategies

Your profile

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the insurance industry
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Deep and wide insurance network of executives, professionals, and companies
• Willingness to travel as required to meet client and project needs

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., FIA).

• Experience: Extensive and demonstrable experience in actuarial roles within the insurance industry or a consultancy.
• Actuarial Reporting: In-depth knowledge of actuarial reporting needs and processes within insurance organizations.
• Modeling Solutions: In-depth knowledge and proficiency in actuarial modeling solutions such as Prophet, Pathwise, Montoux, Tyche, or similar tools.
• Advanced Analytics: Experience in applying analytic techniques to actuarial data.
• Operating Models: Experience in designing and implementing actuarial target operating models.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex transformation projects.
• Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a high-performing team.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills with a track record of developing and implementing successful actuarial transformation strategies.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior executives and key decision-makers.
• Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
