Collingham and District Preschool is a thriving preschool and are seeking to recruit an ad hoc , flexible childcare practitioner to join our small friendly team, to cover staff sickness or as an extra member of staff.

The Preschool Assistant will work as part of the pre-school staff team, under the
direction of the manager to provide safe, high-quality education and care for young
children.
We are looking for someone with an NVQ Level 3 Early years or equivalent, with
experience in working with children, a good understanding of the Early Years curriculum and an ability to inspire young minds and work well as part of a team with a can do attitude.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their well-being and development. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood learning. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Monitor and document children's progress, addressing any developmental concerns. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized nursery setting. Support the management in leading and mentoring junior staff as needed.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 30 per week
