AD Plant General Operative

at their award-winning

Alternity Biogas Energy Ltd (ABEL)

site in Lisburn.

About the Role

As an AD Plant General Operative, you will support day-to-day site operations within the bio-methane production process. You'll play a key part in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment and ensuring that operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with reception and unloading of food waste deliveries Sort, unpack and load materials into processing systems Operate food waste processing machinery Carry out daily checks, cleaning, flushing and maintenance routines Operate forklift and telehandler (training can be provided if required) Support maintenance tasks where competent and upskilled Ensure effective communication during shift handovers Report any safety, quality or productivity issues to the Supervisor/Plant Manager Support site compliance with operational plans and safety standards

Requirements

Forklift or Telehandler licence

preferred

(not essential) Flexible and willing to work to business needs Keen to learn, develop and progress Genuine interest in renewable energy and the process
